I received a Fulbright grant to teach at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BibAlex) in Alexandria, Egypt for the spring 2012 academic semester. I hope to use this blog as a record of my experiences and as a way to share those experiences with all who might be interested. We are also using this blog as a chance to reflect on what it is like for the family to be living in Egypt.  Angelique will also be writing on the blog with regularity, offering a varied perspective on life in Alexandria.  I am a Humanities librarian at Salem State University.
